These terms apply to The Signal Engine, a customer feedback platform operated by Top Rock Media ("we", "us"). By taking a survey, claiming a reward, or accessing a client or sponsor dashboard, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Taking a survey
Surveys are voluntary and free. Give honest feedback, keep it your own, and do not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or that reveals someone else's private information. We may remove any response that violates these terms.
One response per visit. Automated submissions, scripts, and attempts to submit repeatedly from the same device in order to farm rewards are not permitted, and we use technical measures to detect them.
Scratch-off rewards
- No purchase is necessary to take a survey or receive a reward.
- Prizes are drawn from a pool set by the participating business. Availability is limited and some prizes may run out.
- Each redemption code is single-use, has no cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred, or combined with other offers unless the business says otherwise.
- Rewards are fulfilled by the participating business, not by Top Rock Media. Their staff decide how and when a code is honored, and any expiration is theirs to set.
- Codes obtained through fraud, tampering, or duplicate submissions are void.
Reviews are always your choice
A reward is never conditioned on leaving a positive public review. If we invite you to review the business on Google, taking that step is optional, and what you write there is yours alone.
Follow-up on low scores
If you leave a low score you may be offered the chance to share contact details so the business can follow up. Providing them is optional. Sharing them means the business may contact you about your visit.
Client and sponsor accounts
Accounts are issued by invitation. Keep your credentials confidential and do not share access with people outside your organization. You are responsible for activity under your account. Clients may view only their own locations; sponsors may view only aggregate performance for their own placements. Attempting to reach another organization's data is grounds for immediate termination.
Clients are responsible for the questions they publish, the prizes they offer, and for honoring the rewards their guests receive.
Your content and our platform
You keep ownership of the feedback you write. By submitting it you give the participating business and Top Rock Media permission to store it, analyze it, and act on it in order to operate the service and improve the customer experience.
The Signal Engine software, design, and branding remain the property of Top Rock Media. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or build a competing service from the platform.
Availability
We work to keep the platform running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that misuse the platform.
Disclaimers and limits
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Top Rock Media is not responsible for the goods, services, or reward fulfillment of participating businesses, or for offers made by sponsors. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Privacy
Our handling of survey data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
